Enter The Emblem Necklace Sweepstakes!

Our March contest is sponsored by TieMeUp, a merchant of "wearable lifestyle jewelry." If you've looked at our BDSMT contest for February, you probably noticed and admired the rose-and-thorns BDSM Emblem pictured on the white T-shirt. Designs by Francene, our February contest sponsor, licensed that beautiful design from TieMeUp. This month, TieMeUp is donating a BDSM Emblem Necklace in the same design.

This attractive necklace, approximately an $18.00 value, features a 1" pendant displaying TieMeUp's distinctive rose-and-thorns interpretation of the BDSM Emblem; the winner has a choice of red or blue roses. Pewter and glass beads adorn either side of the pendant, which hangs on an adjustable 21" leather thong. Like February's BDSM T-shirt, this is an excellent way to signal your involvement in the lifestyle without tipping your hand to "vanillas." And darn it, it's just a very nice looking piece of jewelry, too! Win this one for yourself or for your partner... you'll be glad you did.

Note: TieMeUp offers an impressive range of jewelry, from collars and necklaces through bracelets and anklets to earrings and special items. They also sell findings and such so you can create your own unique jewelry. And their prices are quite reasonable, too! If you've been looking for a kneeling submissive charm in 14K gold or rose-and-dagger earrings, this is the site you want to visit. Even if you don't have something in particular in mind, drop by and browse; you'll be glad you did. (If you find something you like, tell them Abbot sent you!)

The Emblem Necklace Sweepstakes, sponsored by TieMeUp, is easy to enter. Simply chat in Abbot's Place or The Dungeon as you normally would. Each day during the month, the top chatter as declared by Abbot's chat room statistics for Abbot's Place and The Dungeon will each receive one credit. (If the same person tops both charts, the credits will instead be given to the two people in the highest position containing two different chatters.) At the end of the month, the chatter with the most credits will be declared the winner. (In the event of a tie, multiple awards will be presented.)

Since Abbot's chat statistics span a full 28 days, what happened in the previous month will have a bearing on the contest statistics. (For example, on the 14th, the top chatter will be based on the first 14 days of the current month along with the last 14 days of the prior month.) So, it's important you get involved now if you plan to win.

Strategy also matters! If you're regularly one of the top chatters in Abbot's Place, you'll naturally want to maintain your lead there. But if you feel you have no chance of taking the top spot, concentrate on scening in The Dungeon where the traffic is low and the statistics are practically a blank page waiting for your nickname.

Remember, each line you type potentially counts towards your victory. The more time you spend chatting, the better your chances. However, please note that the chat logs will be reviewed. Flooding, an excessive number of short lines inconsistent with your usual chatting style, extended use of "pop-ups" or pasted material, or other similar actions will be considered abuse and will result in your disqualification.

Good Luck!
James

Contest Rules

This contest is not a game of chance. The person successfully meeting the contest requirements will be considered the winner. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Void where prohibited.

Cash or other substitutions may not be made by the winner. The Webmaster and sponsor reserve the right to substitute another prize of equal or greater value.

The winner's name will be posted at Abbot's Place within seven days of the end of the contest. The winner may claim his or her prize by emailing the Webmaster within seven days and providing his or her legal name, phone number, and a valid address where the prize is to be mailed. Note: Your name and address will be supplied to the sponsor for direct shipment of your prize.

In the event that the winner does not respond within the allocated time or the winner does not provide the required information, that winner will be disqualified. The prize will be withdrawn and the runner-up will be considered the winner. This award process will continue until the winner requirements stated above are fulfilled.

All contest entrants acknowledge that problems with ISPs, telephone lines, computers, networks, and the like are a fact of "Internet life." Entrants agree that their standings and chances of winning may be uncontrollably and unpredictably affected by circumstances such as downed servers, problems with Abbot, or other difficulties. Entrants understand that the contest winner will be judged based solely on the chat room statistics as generated by Abbot, regardless of any incompleteness or errors in those statistics.
