If you're looking for a basic introduction to using the database, read Performing a Simple Search. This topic will get you going quickly with a minimum of fuss.
To learn how to use your search results to send an email message or load a Web page, read Using the Results.
If you're getting too many results back, or results that aren't what you're after, read Performing an Indexed Search. If you would like to pick a subset of data to look through (for example, all gay groups), Sorting and Filtering may be of help.
