Sorting and Filtering
Sometimes, even a restricted search will return a lot of records.
For example, suppose you want to browse through a list of all pansexual groups. In this case, your criteria ("pansexual") is really more of a "filter" than it is a search term. But too many results can also be returned for a more normal term. Looking for groups within a state is certainly a legitimate search... but there are a lot of groups in California!
You can make what you're looking for easier to find by sorting the displayed records. To do this, select a Sort field from the drop-down menu [C]. The database engine will reorder the results based on the field you choose.
